NO NEED FOR BOREDOM IN THE SAUNA!

Relaxing and warming your tired body in this frosty weather need not simply mean sitting in a wooden-panelled room for a few minutes. A sauna ritual transforms a classic sauna into an uncommon experience. The combination of music, aromatherapy and swirling air is sure to have a positive effect on your state of mind.

LET THE PERFORMANCE BEGIN...

Our pleasant, experienced sauna expert has always prepared rituals designed to fit in with a specific theme and the music which accompanies the ritual is chosen to suit this. The sauna experience is accompanied by a variety of aromas, provided by balls of ice that melt on the hot stones to release a pleasant fragrance. The sauna expert then uses a towel to swirl the unevenly heated air, and the aromatic essence, around the whole sauna. This is followed by steam blasts, again using the towel, after which you can cool down for a while with skin peeling using crushed ice.

AND TO FINISH, SIMPLY RELAX

Once the sauna ritual is over, we recommend cooling the body in the shower or submerging yourself in the plunge pool. It is then a good idea to take plenty of time to relax in one of the relaxation zones at the Wellness Centre and to replenish your liquids at our Sauna Bar.

Sauna ceremonies take place every in Sauna Club Africana.
Entry is free as part of your entry fee to the Wellness Centre; booking in advance is not necessary.
A ceremony takes approximately 12 minutes.
The minimum number of participants for a ceremony to be held is 3 people; the maximum is 12 persons.
